PUMPKIN PICKING STORY

After about 3 weeks of begging and blackmailing, "Mr." finally agreed to come with me to the pumpkin patch. The best part is that we only live about 15 minute drive away from a farm that does that every year. As soon as we got there we noticed that the gates were closed. Hmm. Oh yeah, they close for the winter on October 31st and won't open before spring. First fail. Luckily on our way there we saw another sign on the roadside that said "farm". So we tried that one. The gates were open, but we're quite sure they were closed too since all we saw was 3 little pumpkins (plus added bonus: happy, social chickens). And no people. So we just took few photos and rode right back home. So yet another failed attempt to experience the good ol' American pumpkin picking tradition. Better luck next year...

  1. Yeah, we Americans are kinda funny that way... Once Halloween is over, we move right into Christmas!
Here, it seems, the holiday begins 3 months prior and ends the day of!
If you are thinking about cutting down your own Christmas tree this year, may I suggest that you not wait too long... :)
