FIVE FAVORITES (ACTUALLY, JUST 3...)

I love grapefruit! It's been my favorite over oranges as long as I can remember . I usually have one in the morning before I drink my green smoothie. Usually feeling great is a sign of clean and healthy digestive system, and that is only one benefit to grapefruit. Grapefruit also improves complexion and aids in weight loss. It is low in sodium, high in fat burning enzymes and is high in water content. All these elements combined speed up the metabolism. Grapefruit contains vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, iron, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, and several B-vitamins and is also rich in lycopene (the red color pigment), which helps in preventing the occurrence of tumor and cancer. So quite powerful!
Since I've been trying to go off gluten, I've tried few products to satisfy my craving for bread. Gluten-free crackers have not been my favorites, so I've gone back to rice cakes which I remember eating a lot as a teen. Of course my rice cakes now are way healthier, like these non-gmo USDA organic brown rice cakes. I just add some hummus (right now loving green olive hummus) and veggies on top and there's a delightful snack.
Journaling. I got this beautiful journal from my first meeting with Radiant Women Collective. During our first meeting at the local yoga studio, we did journaling through self-discovery. I love stuff like this so I can't wait for more homework and more of these evenings. It is now a monthly thing where women from all backgrounds come together to celebrate their spirituality by doing yoga, chanting, meditation, group discussions, essential oils and so on. Quite excited about this!

  1. When i was on holiday in new york i ate those rise cakes and i miss them so so much! they are so much better than the ones what we have here in finland. so much more flavour!
