WELLNESS WEDNESDAY'S FIVE FAVES

INDULGE! Pasta made from quinoa!? Vegan "Elbows alla Vodka" in the making! 
CLEANSE! Yup, this will be one of the crucial things I'll do this spring. Need to get cleansed out so detox here I come!
SUPER IT UP! Trying some new superfood powders. Irish Moss helps in regaining the youthful properties of hair, skin and nails. EAT! I love bread. My snack lately has been sprouted whole wheat and flax seed rolls with hummus, tomato, balsamic vinegar marinated cucumber, capris and some tabasco sprinkled on top (I'm addicted to hot sauce). Yum!
PLAY! No matter how tired I am i put in some playtime with the cats when I get home from work. It's like they've been waiting for it all day and bring me their toys as soon as I sit down. Here we're playing one of their favorite games: throwing feather-tailed ball up the stairs and they try to catch it and smack it back down. Good times.
Sunday drive down the FDR on our way to Brooklyn. Such different views I'm used to. Very refreshing to see Manhattan from the other side.

  1. Gluten free Quinoa pasta is the best! Obviously it's one of those things that are not available in Alaska but thank god for online shipping.... :-)
