Last week we were utterly spoiled at a nearby restaurant called Red Eye Grill when they threw a fabulous concierge appreciation event for us hospitality professionals. Red Eye is located right across the street from Carnegie Hall at 7th Avenue and 56th St. Red's Lounge features an 88-foot mural by the world-renowned artist Red Grooms.
The Redeye Grill derives its name from the infamous late-night flight linking America’s two cultural hubs. The fusion of the two coasts is present both in this grand cafĂ©’s interior design and its menu. COme here to listen to live music nightly and enjoy a cocktail.
We connected with many interesting characters of the concierge world and shared experiences while munching on some delicious appetizers, desserts, wine and cocktails that kept coming our way non-stop. The staff made sure we never had an empty glass or plate. Live jazz music was nice touch as well.
Thank you everyone at Red Eye Grill for the most wonderful, delicious, memorable night in a while!
P.S. Please vote for my blog here for SuperSaver.fi travel blog awards. Thanks!
