low-sodium tomato juice
Start by combining first three ingredients in a glass with ice. My vodka/tomato juice ratio is just about 1/8. Add 3 dashes of hot sauce and a dash of Cajun spices and Worcestershire. Stir well (or shake like I did) and garnish with a celery stalk. For more kick add black pepper.
Although commonly referred to as a vegetable, a tomato is the fruit of the plant Solanum lycopersicum. Tomatoes are high in Vitamins A & C which means they're loaded with antioxidants. Antioxidants help fight free radicals that can lead to inflammation and illnesses.
Besides providing 2 grams of protein and fiber, tomatoes are also a good source of lycopene and beta-carotene (helps fight cancer, especially colon & prostrate) and heart disease. Lycopene is also known to be anti-aging. It helps protect the skin from UV damage. source
