ANGELICA KITCHEN, NYC

 The other night we went to see the play Purge at La Mama Experimental Theatre Club in East Village and before the show enjoyed some excellent vegetarian dinner nearby at Angelica Kitchen
 For appetizer we had Agrarian Salgado which is basically mashed potato-seitan rounds with parsley-almond pesto center, dill-tofu sour cream on top and a side of marinated kale. 
For main course I had Well Cultured salad that had mix of seasonal greens, watercress, homemade kimchee, nori strips and toasted sesame seeds. Delicious and filling.
My friend Heidi had their Three Bean Chili made with pinto and kidney beans, seitan, lentils, sun dried tomatoes, chili blend and jalapeno-tofu sour cream served with a side of fluffy corn bread. We were too stuffed to have dessert so we just took a walk down to La Mama and enjoyed the show. I personally must have liked it, because I was able to sit still for 2 hours and didn't get very bored. And I got to see Peter Franzen completely exposed...

  3. Sääli, ettei Puhdistus onnistunut stagella, kirjana se on tosi vahva, kieli hyvää ja tarina karmaiseva. Ihminen on hirviiö kun sille päälle sattuu.
    Tiesithän, että kirja on käännetty englanniksi.
    Ruokakuvat laittoivat hakeutumaan jääkaapille...
