ALKALIZING DIET

I had forgotten how comfortable wedges can be until I tried on these beauties at the DSW the other day. Now I can be super tall and comfortable. Life is good.
There's also another thing contributing to my feeling good, these two containers that I found on my doorstep; Pure Hawaiian Spirulina and Greens First. I mix these two together in a bottle with Benefiber and filtered water, shake vigorously and drink fast. Taste is not the best, but not terrible bad either.

Here are some good pointers from Dr. Graf's book "Stop aging, Start living":

 3-1 Ratio: Eat a ratio of three alkalizing foods (leafy greens, vegetables, nuts and seeds, fruits) to every one acidic food throughout the day. Check here which foods are alkalizing and which ones are acidic.

 Take a calcium supplement. Because calcium is basic, the body uses it to balance an acidic environment. Even men need a calcium supplement daily to maintain healthy bone density and body pH. 

 Get more fiber. Start your day with a fiber supplement such as Benefiber.

 Have a positive attitude. Guilt and other negative emotions cause acidity in the body. So even if you do indulge in a chocolate martini over a slice of cheesecake every once in awhile, enjoy every bite!

  2. These wedges are so cute! You know, I got a pair of wedges here in Paris with flowers on them, almost as cute as yours, dirt road colored, when I went shopping with my step mom (visiting with my dad from back home). And then a day later they broke. The store won't repair them, they just took them back - and probably ditched them immediately, "auts" for the ecology - so I still have no wedges...
