I met up with a Finnish friend of mine after work on Thursday for a dress hunt. She has a wedding to attend to on Sunday and no proper dress. The right dress was found at Esprit that actually had 30% of all dresses. I fell in love with so many items there.
We also had time to stop for drinks at Bar 13 that has Happy Hour starting already at 2pm on Thursdays (awesomeness). Their rooftop is probably the wackest rooftop ever, but we were in Union Square and didn't feel like walking too far.
The rooftop has no music, no bar, no view. Just dirty white plastic patio furniture. So weird. The potential here so great that I don't understand why they don't remove those tin panels from the walls and replace them with glass for a view, put some speakers out there (doesn't need to be loud if they're afraid the neighbors will complain) and get one bartender to serve something simple like beers and wines.
Anyways, we made some new friends (that informed us that the bar had open bar from 5pm-6pm that we didn't even know about!) and enjoyed mini cupcakes from Baked By Melissa which is just next block. So good with a glass of Pinot.
Before I go, I got to show you the back of my flower shirt. I love how hippie it is.

  2. Those minty looking cup-little-wonders look delish! We're hosting my dad and step mom and heading to the Versailles Castle for a 4th of July picnic!
